Greengrass and Monomyth Co., Ltd. were initiated in 2018, and invited many film and television studios and companies in the film and television industry served as judges to jointly organize the story pitching competition in Taiwan—"Wild Grass Project".

The entries are locked in feature films and mini/TV series, whether you are a Chinese or English creator from all over the world, all are welcome to sign up, and there will be a series of events such as pitching workshops and Asia TV& Film Forum. Submissions

Registration

Step1：Please download the proposal template.
Step2：After completing your proposal, please go to the registration page to fill in the registration google form, then uploading your proposal and other related files. The registration google form and proposal must be uploaded before 23:59 on May 31, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Step3：After being reviewed by the judges, the finalists will be notified by the organizer in emails, and the shortlist will be announced on the official website on August 19,2024.
Step4：All finalists are obligated to sign and agree to the "Regulatory and Obligatory Agreement" and related copyright waiver document which will be provided in emails sent by the organizer (failure to sign is deemed to be a waiver, which will be replaced by another candidate). All finalists must participate the pitching workshop on September 21,2024 and attend the pitching session in person or online.
Step5：The finalists are all required to participate in the " 2024 4th Wild Grass Project Pitching" on September 29,2024. Each will present his/her stories with a pitch proposal and take questions from the judges in person or live online. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on the same day.

Shortlist Announcement

On August 19, 2024, shortlist will be selected, and a pitching and awards ceremony will be held in Taipei on September,29. 2024, with the winning stories to be announced.

Prize

The prize will be paid within 60 days after the winner list is announced and the winner has prepared relevant information.

If the prize exceeds TWD 20,000, the organizer will withhold taxes on the prize received by the winner in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the Government of the Republic of China. The winner must submit the receipt, ID copy and remittance account information before Octorber,10,2024. If the information provided by the winner is incorrect and causes problems with prize delivery, the organizer has nothing to do with it and the prize will be borne by the winner. Take your own responsibility.

Terms And Conditions

All submissions must guarantee that the copyrights of the submitting works is fully owned by the entrant. If there is any dispute over its copyrights, the organizer has full rights to reject the submissions with stories in copyrights dispute. If losses are caused, the organizer shall request compensation. (The submission which is generated by AI is not considered a completely original work).
Each creator can only apply for one entry of each specification (one creator can only apply for one film, one series, and one creative program each). However, works that have been submitted to before cannot be submitted again this year. After inspection and confirmation of the facts, the organizer has full right to cancel the qualification and recover the awards and bonuses. If losses are caused, the organizer has the right to request compensation.
The entries must have not been publicly published in any formal form, including but not limited to not signing a cooperation contract with other units, or having not been shortlisted or awarded in any other activities. Once the facts are confirmed, the organizer has the right to disqualify the entries. And recover the awards and bonuses, and request compensation if losses are caused.
If the project is jointly created by multiple writers, it is necessary to fill in the introduction and contact info of all writers in the registration form, and assign one person as the main contact, and each person must all agree to the registration rules. If the project is selected, all co-writers must agree and sign on the same documents.
After the contestant completes the registration and successfully and correctly responds with personal information, he or she is deemed to have understood and agreed to the various methods of this solicitation and has agreed to the organizer's collection of his or her personal information.
If there are any unfinished matters in the various methods of this solicitation activity, the organizer have the right to amend them at any time and publish them on the official website of the activity. The organizer reserves the right to interpret this event.
After the registration is completed the entrants are deemed to agree to agree to the organizer’s attempt in collecting and sharing of the personal information to related parties. The organizer has the right to modify at any time and publish the partial personal information on the official website and related social media.
